MARCH-12th-Marianna No.58 Industrial Collieries, Jerry Slolbodgen, motorman assistant, age 26 nonfatal accident in mine, squeezed between car & rib butt. American citizen. Single.
MARCH-16 year old Mary Konicki (Konicke), is the victim of a hit-and-run accident, while walking with her friend Mary Vargo.  Mary Konicki was found unconscious in Ten Mile creek, according to reports. She was listed in serious condition at Washington hospital.
JUNE-1-Louis Napotnik, coal miner, 48, died. Death was unrelated to mining. Buried at Horne Cemetery. 
JUNE-11th-Schiarelli Cornelius, Machine miner, age 52, nonfatal accident inside mine- hit by falling coal & slate. Italian, married.
JULY-Woman has 23 kids
AUGUST-6th-George Shargota, machine miner, age 25, nonfatal accident inside mine-while drilling a hole. American citizen. Married. 
OCTOBER-22nd-The Barrie Blue Way Orchesta plays at the Spanish Lantern.
NOVEMBER-Dining and dancing at the Spanish Lantern. Music by Lee Barrett.
DECEMBER-Spanish Lantern holds a New Year's Party.
