APRIL-Daniel R. Smith,85, of West Bethlehem Township dies. He was a carpenter, and son of Israel Smith and Hannah Smith (Grable).  Born 1840. Buried at North Ten Mile. Informant Samuel Smith. 
MAY-Civil war veteran and farmer dies, Andrew Jackson Sowers, aged 91. He was the son of Levi and Cynthia Enoch Sowers.
JULY-Issac A. Gayman dies on 20th at age 77.He married Mary Ellen Shape. They had one child.
OCTOBER-10th-Divorced pair, Myer Hecht and Bertha Krell Heckt take out a third marriage license. Their motto "If at first yon don't succeed, try again."
NOVEMBER-7th-Marianna Mine is reopened.
NOVEMBER-18th-Mine sniper is arrested.
