JANUARY-4TH-Eda C. Costa is born to Joseph and Mary Costa.
JANUARY-14th-According to reports, a bandit, whose occupation was a coal cutter, is shot by a Marianna Watchman, Daniel Guza. the bandit is believed to be one of the three men who attempted to rob the Union Coal and Coke Company Store.
APRIL-14TH-A letter by Mr. Lex N. Mitchell is written to the general manager of coal mines, recommending J.S. Shidler as Justice of Peace in Marianna.
JUNE-17TH-John Fuchick, owner of "The Gray Duck" at Marianna, was held for court in the charge of selling liquor. He was committed to the county jail in default of 2,000 bail. Fuchick, according to reports, conducted a hotel formerly known as the St. Charles, but now called The Gray Duck. 
AUGUST-14TH-Phyllis Dillon born to Philip and Eleanor Dillon.
