FEBRUARY 10TH-Joseph Costa (father of Eda Niverth), coal miner, age 84, died.

MARCH-9th-Marianna Women's Club meeting held. Mrs. John Roule, is program chairwoman.

JUNE-7th-Albert Braden (Bert) Donahoo, age 92, of West Bethlehem Township died. He was the son of Daniel George and Sarah Mitchell Donahoo.

SEPTEMBER-For several weeks, dead fish have clogged North Ten Mile Creek between Marianna and Clarskville, as well as fish are found dead in the Ohio River and an Armstrong County tributary. Officials blame a low oxygen concentration in the water.

OCTOBER-16TH-Jesse F. Bigler, farmer of West Beth twp, 89, died. Son of Benjamin Bigler and Mary Bigler Gayman.

DECEMBER-30th-Catherine Gusoff Sederoff died. Services are held at St. Nicholas Russian church.
DECEMBER-6th-Fire at Marianna Lumber Company.
