~Albert Miller, a Washington County farmer, stumbled upon a groundhog hole on his family’s farm in Avella and uncovered what looked to be a prehistoric tool. Two decades later he got in touch with a professor who found the object was a prehistoric flint knife. The site was later excavated and yielded nearly two million artifacts, ancient tools, etc. and eventually the site became known as Meadowcroft village.



Maybe our future doesn't have to be based upon the past.
