Marianna Borough Then and Now

The top postcard photo shows Marianna Borough at its inception, with buildings and houses still being built. The bottom picture, an image of a painting (artist unknown), shows the working mine in 1910 when the borough was incorporated. Billowing smoke and train carts filled with coal can be seen. The little yellow dots are for comparison of the change in landscape.

More to come!
