PRIVATE FAMILY PLOTS GRABLE

Grable family plot located on private property on Grable road in West Bethlehem township. Grable Road was named after the Grable family, who were early settlers. There are about 10 graves. One grave is clearly legible, and one grave can barely be made out. The largest stone and legible one is that of Daniel Grable-d-August 26th, 1851. His wife Susanna is the other, which is on the ground next to him and in pieces. There are several small stones upright as seen in photo but no words on them. And there are about 4 rough stone markers sitting upright that look like large skinny rocks. The last grave-keeper was Ben Phillips who lived on Highland Ridge Road. Note-Daniel's last name is spelled Grabel, instead of Grable.

...HERE LIES THE BODY OF SUSANNAH GRABLE. A WIFE OF DANIEL. Daniel 1st married Susannah (Byler). He later married Abigail Regal McGinnis. He had a lot of children.

There are several other old graves not seen here that are like the one in the first photograph. I did find an online site with the names of those who are buried here, HERE.
