NOTE-In March 2021, Pennsylvania, all 3 Washington County Commissioners, Larry Maggi (D), Diana Vaughan (R), and Nick Sherman (R), voted to make Washington County a "second amendment sanctuary". They became the seventh that week in Pennsylvania to proclaim itself a "second amendment sanctuary."

“We’ve been watching what’s been going on in our nation and our state and discussions that have been had recently and decided we needed to step up to protect the rights of our citizens,” -Commissioner Diana Vaughn (Republican).

The House passes gun package, included raising age for semi-automatic weapons purchases.

Congressman Guy Reschenthaler voted no on the "Protect our Kids Act".

"As a gun owner and staunch defender of the 2nd amendment, I will always fight the left's attempt to deny us our right to protect ourselves and our families. Congress should be working together to address the root causes of mass violence. Instead, Democrats are pushing a radical gun grab agenda that would strip away law-abiding citizens' rights."
