National Pollinator Week -June 20th-26th

Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health. Pollinators, as you may know, are responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food you take, as well as they pollinate about 90% of ALL flowering plants. Many of us think of only birds, bees, and butterflies as pollinators, but there are much more pollinators than most of us realize. Approximately 200,000 different species of animals around the world act as pollinators, including birds, bats, small mammals, flies, beetles, and moths.

Please spread the word about what we can do to protect them. This includes avoiding chemicals, reducing light pollution, planting natives, becoming a gardener, providing nesting habitats, and much more.
