First day of Autumn!

Zinnia flowers are the last display of colors in my garden. Perhaps their hues, and that of goldenrod, aster, and ironweed wildflowers, send signals to the green trees, that it's time to color autumn in darker shades of themselves? Winter, I like to think, is a time when the earth is planning, showing her black and brown sketches against winter's white canvas, seen at the end and beginning of a year.

 Never rush an artist.

Watch the change as it happens.

Maybe our future doesn't have to be based upon the past.
