Marianna Mine Company Row Houses Garland

Marianna Borough was a model mining town built by the Pittsburg-Buffalo Company between 1906 and 1912.  Today it is a historic district with many of the same yellow-brick homes lining the streets on a slightly-wooden hillside above Ten Mile Creek. The population back in 1910 included Russians, Italians, English, Slavic, and Scots miners.
