Kleptoparasite/Houdini Fly

Have you spotted Houdini flies? These parasitic insects invade the nests of mason bees, laying their eggs alongside the bees’ food stores. When the fly larvae hatch, they outcompete the bee larvae for resources, threatening mason bee populations and disrupting pollination.
