Marianna Mural Pennsylvania ~West Bethlehem Township ~Beth-Center Students

A colorful mural installed in Marianna on the side of the Pizza Company building. Thanks to Alex Vivallo, art illustrator, who created the original image for the grand painting that is sure to bring delight to all who pass by it.

Muralist and ceramic artist Jim Winegar lent his skills and technical know-how to the project. Jim completed several murals throughout Washington County, Pa.

Bethlehem Center art teacher Frank Morgan had the art students paint the mural.  It took them around a month to complete, with other artists from Washington and Green county adding their touch to the painting after it was hung.

The mural was made possible by the Nowak family of Marianna and their contribution of the cost of materials, and Lisa Scherer whose got the project up and moving.

Colleen Nelson, a freelance writer for the Observer Reporter, wrote a unique article telling the story of how the mural came to be. She did so elegantly by adding a touch of historical facts blended with the life of the town today and the bright future it has moving forward.

Appreciate the past, live for today, plan for the future. What better words to inspire a community.

Thank you to everyone who made this mural possible, including the Lemley family for the use of their yard for set-up. There's nothing we can't do when we work together.

Thanks for visiting!

Maybe our future doesn't have to be based upon the past.
