MONTH?-Pete Zaharoff from Marianna broke the Uniontown senior HS stadium pole vault record with a vault of 12’ 3” while winning the Junior WPIAL Heavy Weight >115 #s.
MONTH?-John Howard Iams passed away. He lived in West Beth Township until about age 40 then moved to Washington, Pa where he worked for Sinclair Oil. Several of his local paintings are in a local private collection. Another Iams family member bought the home around 1909.The house was tore down in 2020. 
MONTH ?-Martinus Neuvirth died.
