APRIL-5th-An ultralight aircraft, resembling a large kite propelled by a chainsaw engine-mounted propeller, piloted by John Yesenosky, soared overhead as a group of people formed the words "Stop the Towers" with their bodies in a Scenery Hill field. The spectacle garnered attention and made headlines.
JULY-Police charge Orlando Maurice Guarino, 38, with death of Ashley Guarino, 22, Dreux Guarino, 2, and Orlando Guarino Jr. 11 months.
