The Family Tree



We all have 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, and 16 great-great grandparents. The number doubles each generation back. It is estimated that after 400 years each of us have 1 million direct ancestors who genetic material we share. So identifying a direct male line is academic, but nonetheless intriguing. 

Every time you search the supposedly dead past, you find life.
