 MARCH-12th-Blizzard/Storm of the century.It was a nor'easter that formed over the Gulf of Mexico.

SEPTEMBER-17th-Virginia S. Horne, 89, died. Her family founded and still operates the Marianna and Scenery Hill Telephone Company. The company was founded by J. W. Shidler, in 1910. Mrs. Horne served as secretary and treasurer from 1961 through 1992. She was also a home economics teacher in Marianna Borough and West Bethlehem Township schools.  





Maybe our future doesn't have to be based upon the past.
