Yellow Foxtail Grass

Setaria Pumulia, often called yellow foxtail or cattail grass, is found this time of year in uncut yards, roadsides, fields, and end-of-year gardens. It is native to Europe and is now a common weed in the United States.

Personally, I look forward to it growing every year and am compelled to pick it from my unkempt garden to display inside. I'm a big fan of weeds.

Maybe our future doesn't have to be based upon the past.
