George Wise and Margaret Ulery

George Wise, born November 13th, 1791 in Washington County. He married Miss Margaret Ulery, a daughter of Stephen Ulery and Christina Conkle. George was one of eight children of Adam and Barbara Wise [Zollars]. He was a minister in the German Baptist church and for many years was a pastor of the society of that name on Daniels run.

Margaret is the sister of Jacob Ulery.

Eventually, the family moved from the area to Illinois.
