MARCH
-15TH, Clara Alexander born to Michael Alexander and Maria Ivanova Alexander (Makedonsky-daugther of Rev Trifon Vasilovich Makidonsky/McDonsky-founder of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox in Marianna) Clara was baptized this year in the Russian Orthodox Church. Her baptismal record is signed by Rev. C. Phillips.
MAY-Rose Luongo born. She lived to be 100 (died in Washington).
AUGUST 5th-EE Dorn died in Marianna  mine, age 35. Married with one child. German. Death due to a piece of roof falling on him in mine (unavoidable). Source.
SEPTEMBER 12th-Is the date of WW1 registration card for Joseph Costa, worker for Union Coal & Coke Company. Coke Laborer, his present occupation. 
OCTOBER-6TH-William Roule died.
NOVEMBER-7th-According to the Department of Health, the epidemic of influenza is improving in Washington county 
NOVEMBER-James Calvin Hatfield is found dead and his widow Ophelia is retained.Ophelia is later committed to Dixmont until further order of the court. 
The two had seven children.

NOTES-In October, Influenza nursing volunteers are called for Washington county. Lillian Kinder graduates from Calnorsean. During the time of the Spanish Flue epidemic, all persons except physicians and nurses were forbidden, under penalty of law, from leaving or entering a sick house, without the written permission from the Board of Health. Ads included mask-wearing, washing of hands, social distancing.
